Competitions
Pilgrennon's Beacon YA science fiction, 2010 second-round entrant, Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest. Unfortunately, I submitted a manuscript with my address on it, and it was thus disqualified before it could get any further. It got one great review and one OK review, so I've no idea if it would have failed at this point anyway. The moral of the story, lads and lasses, is to read the submission guidelines and THINK if they go against the industry standard!
Jack of Savants science fiction, 2005 quarterfinalist, Writers of the Future
In the Shadow of Lazarus science fiction, 2006 semifinalist, Writers of the Future
